Unconditional Love // un.con.di.tion.al love

/ˌənkənˈdiSH(ə)n(ə)l ləv/

Perfection is far from the human reach. Our dispositions around love is something of subject in a conversation on sustaining humanity. Imperfection is an inherent part of our existence. Mistakes, hardships, frustrations, are all encoded in our human embodiment.

“Love” …. a weighty term with a solitary meaning across multiple generations. An expression that’s to prove ones undying affection for another. A term strong enough to create power and control imbalance between partners, family, friends, or in any relationship.

Is love enough? Is love true? Is love remedial?

Are we truly loving if it’s not unconditional?

Love is treated like a contract; a ledger than keeps account of the debts owed especially in households and present-time relationships.

When the relationship does not offer the basic needs (of a relationship) anymore and is now turning into a competition of who love who more, the latter become apparent.

All type of love should be unconditional; otherwise, we are offering nothing but affection with strings attached

Unconditional love is growth. We get into relationships with another human being—a person filled with flaws, challenges, and kinks; a person just like us. How can we love a person if they can’t be who they are? It is the type of love that permits us to constantly re-evaluate our relationship and decide if it is still working or not

Unconditional love is faith. We are all playing on the same team, regardless of our background whether it be ethnicity, colour, or religion. Teammates don’t keep scoreboards. They plan to win, they practice to grow and ultimately become one.

Listen, Accept, Influence, and be transparent
